Honda FCX will be 1st in private hands) I know the technology has been out there for hydrogen powered cars for awhile, but they have so far been restricted to the realm of race car driving R&D scientists, science fiction novelists, and current California movie star Governator's. (He took the Hummer, but turned down the hangover).

Anyway, once a global multi-national company like Honda starts giving a product to consumers to use in the real world, you know they are standing firmly behind and moving forward with their product, the Honda FCX. Honda has long believed in putting their R&D dollars where their public relations mouth is, so look for the technology to only become more available in the coming future, especially with oil futures breaking through the $60 psychological barrier last week.

I like the idea of my first kid's car being a hydrogen powered one.

Then I wouldn't have to buy any more bottled water.
